Webform Platform Service

Overview of Service

SCS Computing Facilities’ Technical Communication Platforms team (TCP) offers department website managers and developers with a feature-rich web form design tool called JotForm. 

As our partner, you can deploy full-featured webpage embedded or stand-alone forms that not only meet critical accessibility standards but offer value-added functionality such as FERPA-compliant data security, approval mechanisms, automated workflows, form templates, 3rd party integrations (such as Google Sheets), a private team workspace, single-sign on (SSO) pre-fill capabilities and more for the cost of a seat (per-user license).

Our experienced team can help you get up and running quickly and provide you with training and form-building guidance so you can build forms that offer web visitors or targeted form audiences the best user experience. Please note: This service provides our partners with a "seat" (license) for a cost, that allows them to develop their own forms. This is not a form request/creation service. If you need a webform, reach out to your department's web development team. Free form options like Google Forms exist as part of CMU's academic Google suite offering.
