FAQ: Webform Platform Service

General Information

While forms are part of some of the migrations for our CMS customers, we do not create forms on demand. This service empowers partners to use this tool to create forms for their needs. Partners can, at their discretion, create appropriate forms for their department wbesites or as stand-alone forms.
Yes! Jotform's core form-building tools meet ADA compliance! However, this is a robust form-building solution that allows its users extensive flexibility, so best-practices need to be learned and followed. TCP is happy to provide training and consulting. CMU's Digital Accessibility Office provides excellent resources and is available to help with accessibility best practices!
Yes. Jotform has a cost with a minimum set of seats or licensing cost per user. Joining us in our service dramatically lowers the cost of our partners as we've already brought the service in and partners are just required to pay a cost per license (user).
No. Each partner gets their own team space where they can collaborate on their respective forms in a private team structure. You only see the forms that belong to you or that have been shared with you.
Yes. All at-rest data is encrypted and Jotform is a FERPA compliant tool.

Yes. Jotform offers robust workflow and automation options!
Yes. Jotform offers multiple methods for not only confirm human form submission (bot avoidance via Captcha, for example), in addition to options like IP submission time limits and more. 
Not at this time. We went through extensive product evaluations and comparisons before determining Jotform met pur more pressing requirements. While we do not offer other tools, CMU offers broad access to Google Forms, free of charge. While this product offers a fraction of the functionality Jotform provides, it is a good option for simple or temporary form needs without advanced workflows.
Yes! Jotform supports major 3rd party integrations such as Zapier, Google Sheets, Google Docs and more. In addition, it also offers a large variety of native plugins with functionality such as listing, calendars, different input fields and methods and even video embedding.
Yes! SSO can be enabled to protect stand-alone forms. SSO can also be used to pre-fill basic fields such as name, AndrewID, email and more.
Yes! Like our CMS solution, Jotform delivers formsg that scale and adjust to the visitors screen resolution. Forms will adapt to mobile and be responsive regardless of desktop, tablet or mobile phone display experiences.
