End of Life: Windows 10
Support Ending October 31, 2025
We're phasing out support for Windows 10 and will remove software support for computers still running it after October 31, 2025.
What's happening?
Microsoft will end support of the Windows 10 operating system on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. As a result, SCS Computing Facilities (SCSCF) will stop providing software support for all computers running Windows 10 as of Friday, October 31, 2025.
What do I need to do?
So we can continue providing support for your computer, please select one of the options listed below:
- Upgrade your operating system.
We recommend having a backup of your data before performing system updates. - Get help with your upgrade.
Don't want to upgrade on your own? Submit an update consulting request and we can help! - Remove Support.
Not using this computer or want to run it without support? You can submit a request to remove SCS Computing software support from your computer before October 31, 2025.
What does "removing support" mean?
If you do not upgrade to Windows 11, software support will be removed automatically as of November 1, 2025. Unsupported computers limit our ability to help you:
- Your computer will not receive security patches or functionality updates.
- Our engineering and help desk teams will no longer troubleshoot software and operating system issues on your Windows machine.
