Details:
On Monday, August 17, 2020, SCS Computing Facilities will perform a major upgrade of the RAMS Oracle Database which supports a variety of SCS infrastructure services and costing functionality. Please note that this upgrade window will begin earlier (4 pm) than our usual maintenance windows.
All of the RAMS web applications will also be upgraded. During this upgrade outage the following resources will not be available:
- CASE System (Configuration & Administration of SCS Equipment) Web Reports
- Procurement Application
- Poster Printing Submission Application
- Hostinfo utility
- Changes to system, network and charging configurations for equipment will not be available.
Please Note: The following web applications will only use Andrew login credentials, instead of the option of SCS login credentials:
- CASE System (Configuration & Administration of SCS Equipment) Web Reports
- Procurement Application
- Poster Printing Submission Application
After this upgrade, the look and appearance of our SCS Poster Printing application will be refreshed. Some of our other web applications will also be refreshed, while retaining equivalent fields and functionality.
The behavior of these web applications should remain the same. If you experience problems after the upgrade, please contact the SCS Help Desk via our website.
