Changes for SCS Supported Windows Computers

SCS Computing Facilities is beginning a multi-phased project to migrate all SCS managed Windows computers from the SCS Windows domain, to the Andrew Windows domain.

In preparation for these changes, all new machine builds and rebuilds will be done in the Andrew domain. When your new build or rebuild is complete only an Andrew ID will be needed to access resources in both the SCS and Andrew Windows computing environments.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO

No action required at this time.  Current changes only impact computers that are being built or rebuilt.

WHAT TO EXPECT

If your computer is built or rebuilt you will log in with your Andrew ID and password. Otherwise, in the upcoming months, we will contact you to schedule the migration of any other SCS Windows managed computers.
