macOS Big Sur - SCS Computing Supported Applications
As of December 14, 2020, we have completed testing and now support macOS Big Sur.
Please note: There are some applications that will not work with Big Sur including Apple Mail, Minitab Express, and Identity Finder.
If an application or service you use is not on this list, check with the application vendor to see if it is compatible with this version of the operating system.
The release of the previous macOS (Catalina) completed a transition to exclusively-64-bit software that Apple had been carrying out since the introduction of macOS High Sierra in 2017. Catalina dropped all support for 32-bit applications. For more information on this transition, including information on how to identify 32-bit apps on your computer, consult the Apple support article: 32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later

Also, we suggest verifying functionality with a restore of a backup after setting this setting to ensure backups are working. |
